What is EuroSkills?
Since 2008, EuroSkills has been the largest European event celebrating excellence and quality in vocational education and training. Organised by WorldSkills Europe every two years, the competition brings together young professionals from across Europe and gives them the opportunity to demonstrate their skills, talent and ambition — with the goal of becoming among the best in Europe in their profession.
EuroSkills is a central event for vocational education in Europe. It promotes excellence in a practical, innovative and interactive environment, while reflecting the European idea of learning and growing together.
The event inspires young people, professionals, schools, companies and visitors to value quality, share pride in skilled professions and discover the diversity of vocational careers. Alongside the competitions, EuroSkills also offers demonstrations and activities that make skills visible, accessible and inspiring for a wide audience.
EuroSkills Düsseldorf 2027
From 22 to 26 September 2027, EuroSkills will take place in Düsseldorf, Germany.
Around 800 young professionals from across Europe are expected to compete in 50 different vocational disciplines, from skilled trades and industry to digital, creative and service professions.
EuroSkills Düsseldorf 2027 will be a major celebration of skills, talent and professional excellence — bringing together competitors, experts, schools, companies, institutions and visitors from across Europe.
Road to Düsseldorf 2027
The road to EuroSkills starts long before the competition begins.
Through LuxSkills, preparation workshops, expert coaching and international exchange, young professionals develop the skills and confidence they need to compete on the European stage.
As co-host of EuroSkills Düsseldorf 2027, Luxembourg will be part of the journey not only through Team Luxembourg, but also through activities that promote skills, vocational careers and cross-border cooperation in the run-up to the event.
