Turning talent into excellence

WorldSkills Luxembourg celebrates the people who build, create, repair, design, serve, care, code, cook, manufacture, and innovate.

Through national, European, and world-level skills competitions, we give young professionals the chance to show what they are capable of — not in theory, but in action. Under time pressure, in real competition conditions, and in front of experts, schools, companies, families, and the public.

Because skills are not only learned.
They are trained, challenged, refined, and finally performed.

WorldSkills Luxembourg brings together young talents, experts, schools, companies, training institutions, professional chambers, and public partners with one shared ambition: to make vocational excellence visible and to show that skilled professions are full of opportunity, pride, and future.

A new chapter for WorldSkills Luxembourg

WorldSkills Luxembourg is now part of the Ministry of Education, Children and Youth, within the department responsible for vocational education. This strengthens the connection between skills competitions, schools, training institutions, companies and professional chambers.

With this foundation, WorldSkills Luxembourg continues to promote vocational excellence, support young talent and prepare Team Luxembourg to represent the Grand Duchy on the European and world stage.

More than a competition

LuxSkills, EuroSkills, and WorldSkills are not traditional exhibitions or career fairs. They are live competitions where young professionals demonstrate their craft over several days, on one shared stage.

Each competitor receives a demanding task that reflects the reality of their profession. To succeed, they need technical precision, creativity, concentration, problem-solving skills, endurance, and a strong competitive spirit.

This is what makes the competitions unique.

Visitors do not only hear about a profession.
They see it. They feel the pressure. They witness the talent.

From the first national steps at LuxSkills to the international stage at EuroSkills and WorldSkills, the competitions highlight the quality of training, the passion of young professionals, and the importance of skilled work for Luxembourg’s future.
