The competitions
The originality of the LuxSkills, EuroSkills and WorldSkills competitions lies in the fact that they showcase the competing trades and professions over several days, on a single site. For the competitors, the aim is to carry out a task by applying all their knowledge and skills, drawing on their experience, aided by physical and mental preparation and enhanced by a fundamental element: the spirit of competition.
It’s the competition that makes all the difference between a traditional demonstration, an exhibition, a forum presenting trades and the LuxSkills, EuroSkills, or WorldSkills.
These young people measure themselves against each other in their discipline; they demonstrate their skills and the quality of their training, while at the same time showing a sporting spirit and giving an attractive demonstration of their trade and profession.
These are the young talents that WorldSkills Luxembourg is highlighting in order to raise public awareness of the added value of young people getting involved in the world of trades and industry.
Les buts principaux
